“ I've lived in ATL for 13 years. This is by far, hands down our favorite sushi place. The Thai food is also outstanding! We've had sushi all over ATL, inside and outside the perimeter. Harry and sons is always the place we use to judge other places. We've had less expensive, more expensive, and what we consider this to be, is in the mid price range. We've had excellent sushi in Buckhead, but it was so very expensive, we didn't feel the value for our dollar was there. My husband calls those expensive more fancy places "shishi" we've never had a roll at Harry and Sons we didn't like, we've never had Thai food we didn't like (the duck is my favorite here) , the cocktails are always exceptional, and the service is 5 star. Enclosing their back patio was probably the smartest move. We actually prefer the back dining room due to its quiet noise level. Don't pass up this place, you'll be sorry. ”

“ My friends and I came here for a Friday night dinner. The place is a lot bigger than it seems and they seated our group of 4 immediately! Our server was super nice as well. We ordered crab rangoons (called cheese rolls, 3 pieces) and egg rolls (3 rolls split into 6 pieces) for appetizers. These were super crispy and I liked the dipping sauce they came with. For mains, I got a volcano roll and split a dancing dragon roll with my friend. The volcano roll was tasty, but the rolls were very thick and they kept falling apart. Some parts of the avocado also seemed either like it was browning or just super dunked in soy sauce (which also may have been why the roll was falling apart). The dancing dragon roll was pretty good (I'm not a tempura sushi fan usually but this was yummy!). Overall, decent spot, and I'd probably try some of the other dishes next time. ”

“ Love this place! I loved Surin of Thailand so I was excited to try this place. We came on a Friday night and got seated quickly. It looks small but has lots of tables and I was able to parallel park nearby. We didn't get any drinks but got the cheese rolls and egg rolls to start. I thought the egg roll were fine but loved the cheese rolls (basically crab rangoons) For the entree I got the combo 1 with the super crunch rolls and Tokyo roll and it was a lot of sushi so come hungry. They were big rolls and thought they delicious. 10/10 and will definitely come back! ”

“ Ocean Wave provided a fantastic dining experience. My friend and I went around 9 or 10 PM, and despite it being busy, we were greeted promptly and seated right away. The service was attentive, with the staff offering thoughtful menu suggestions and explaining the dishes in detail. We started with the chicken larb, which was spicier than expected but paired well with the cabbage--it reminded us of chicken lettuce wraps but with a more robust flavor. For my main course, I had the submarine roll and wonton soup, both of which were delicious, especially the soup. My friend enjoyed the combo fried rice and spicy seafood soup. All the dishes were fresh, flavorful, and generously portioned; we even took home some of the fried rice and chicken larb. The atmosphere was relaxed with a nice vibe, enhanced by the game playing at the bar. Overall, it was a great experience, and we'll definitely be returning. ”

“ Located in Va Highlands I was headed the Murphys (no parking) when I saw Surin Thai. It's been years since I have been to Surin so I turned around once I saw there was no parking at Murphy's. I found street parking (pay by the hour) near Surin and happened to be right in front of Ocean Wave. Before walking to Surin I was checking out yelp reviews it sounds as though they are not as good as years past. I settled on Ocean Wave after viewing yelp and I'm glad I did. Menu Prices $$ Great lunch menu with Sushi and Thai for $12-$20. Hamachi is my favorite so I had to have an order. It was so delicious! From the Thai Lunch menu I ordered the sushi grade Salmon Red Curry. The lunch comes with a yummy coconut soup ”

“ Tasty food options available at this VA Highlands sushi and Thai restaurant. Renovations occurred recently per my companion and added to an inviting dining experience. Dining tables in booths located in a section a few steps above the main floor, which had tables to accommodate larger parties. Booths were spacious and comfortable. Received prompt service and ordered from both the sushi options and the Thai selections. The tropical maki roll was recommended by our server and truly delightful. The accompanying pineapple sauce enhanced the freshness of the salmon and tuna. The roll was completed by a well marinated seaweed salad. My companion enjoyed the roasted duck with red curry. Its spice was infused with not being overly spicy. There were ample vegetables included with meal. The selection of alcoholic beverages was vast. Cocktail and sake options were plentiful. The Japanese old fashioned was tasty and welcomed on a cool winter evening. Would return to taste other selections. ”

“ Came backs to my fav Atl. eatery, after 5 yrs; Fo lunch no less :/ Their 2 fo $15 sushi roll deal still Rox! With comp.'d soup o course. Inside vibe still mellow, chill, & relaxing. It truly impossible to go wrong with anything off their menus. I hold all other Penangs and Masaman's up to the H&S Standard. Dead Serious. Their varying numerous sushi rolls come in WAY above avg as well. Of course kick it off with one of their crafts (Hi-wire) or Thai Iced Tea.
